From up here I plainly See
C I’m just a squirrel in a G tree,
Am From up here, I plainly F see,
C All the folks bustle G busily,
Am But they just can’t F see.
Chorus:
C Down there on their G feet, being selfish, you Am see,
Having F only themselves to worship, all C trusting in “me’s”.
All you G humans down there have really Am lost the way,
F Lost is the Torah, the path YaHUWaH C paved.
Verse 2:
C Forgotten are the Father’s G words, prophets sent to Am you, ah,
The F only name that will save you is C YAHSHUA.
The G folks all down there are so busy in Am wicked ways,
F Folks, I do implore you, YAHSHUA is the righteous C way.
Bridge:
C Jump off that broad road you’re G on and choose the Am narrow,
F Please repent and pitch your tent with C YAHSHUA, no sorrow.
Verse 3:
C But from up here, I see a G few humans that do Am see,
F Full of compassion, in that path of Torah, C helping others folks stand,
In G truth the name they underAm stand, they Shalom and keep the F rest,
Pass the C tests and find joy in G Shabbats, and on the Feast of Am Succot, they live in F tents.
Chorus 2:
It’s C amazing to us squirrels, these G folks save the most special Am nuts,
Not F stored in garages but their C hearts,
They G love His instructions and Am wait for His return,
They F know YaHUWaH the Father, and love the resurrected C Son.
